October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and it’s a great time to sport some pink.
That’s because the fight against cancer touches us all. According to the American Cancer Society, there are 11.7 million Americans currently living with cancer. They’re our friends, our co-workers and our family members.
One of the most common — and deadly — forms of cancer among women is breast cancer. Every year, more than 200,000 women are newly diagnosed with breast cancer, and more than 40,000 are killed by the disease. They’re our mothers, wives and daughters.
During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we wear pink as a tribute to those around us who have been touched by breast cancer.
In time for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we have stocked a limited quantity of pink Louisville Slugger Hard Maple Baseball Bats. They’re the exact same bats that major league players used on Mother’s Day this year.
It’s Louisville Slugger’s M110 Turning Model, sporting a pink finish. The evenly balanced, game-ready bat has closed grains in its maple, which makes for a huge sweet spot and greater performance.
Because it’s fully wood, this bat is legal for use in NCAA, NFHS and several youth and travel leagues.
Get it for $59.99 — or get it personalized for $69.99 — at Baseball Express.
